About Àwùjọ
Àwùjọ is a structured Yoruba learning platform built to make language accessible, intentional, and connected to culture.
The Àwùjọ Story
Born in Nigeria and raised between two worlds, Oju noticed something missing among her peers and colleagues of similar ancestry. A lot of people wanted to learn Yoruba but couldn't find structured and engaging ways to do so.
Àwùjọ is more than just lessons and events. It's a celebration of language and the joy of play, inviting everyone to experience the beauty and wisdom of the Yoruba people.
“Growing up immersed in the stories, traditions, and playful spirit of Yoruba culture, I wanted to create something that would capture its essence and bring people together.”
